Sunday Yin

Yin Yoga at Heart Work offers a quiet, meditative space to slow down and listen inward. This class invites you to rest deeply in longer-held poses that target the connective tissues and fascia, promoting release, stillness, and flexibility. In yin, the “force” of change is the time we spend in a pose, and each extended hold is accompanied with therapeutic wisdom, poetry, yoga philosophy, or silence. Guided by therapists who are also yoga teachers, Yin at Heart Work weaves mindfulness and emotional awareness into each shape, helping you soften both body and mind, and reconnect with your inner Self.

Please bring a yoga mat and water. We have some props to support your practice but you’re welcome to bring any you think you might prefer. Dress in layers, we don’t heat from within during yin so sometimes a layer or two is nice, and arrive a few minutes early to meet us downstairs at the main door.
